The current layout has black text on a white background. Let's change the text color to be white. You will need to add the android:text Color attribute, and copy/paste the Android white value from the Relative Layout's android:background attribute.
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:background="@android:color/white" >
<TextView
android:id="@+id/textView1"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
android:layout_centerVertical="true"
android:text="Treehouse loves me!"
android:textSize="72sp" />
</RelativeLayout>

12,273 PointsThe question is asking you to add the android:textColor property to the TextView and copy/paste the color from the Relative View. You want to move the /> down a line. it would look like this:
android:layout_centerVertical="true"
android:text="Treehouse loves me!"
android:textColor="@android:color/white" />

12,273 PointsGlad I could help. I've only been working on the Android Track for a few weeks. I've had to rewatch most of the videos and take notes to get it, but it's finally sticking.
