Creating Workspace

if you are looking for it , its in the left toolbar go down to the fifth icon with the two <>

@Jaynie Williams the workspace button will be located on the right hand side of the video. It is a blue button that says "Launch Workspace".

Depending on the video and topic the Launch Workspace button will appear because the instructor wants you to follow along.

There are some other videos that do not have the Launch Workspace meaning the instructor wants you to follow the presentation.

NO. None of what anyone one is saying is making sense. I should have a workspace and I do. But I don't know how to get to it. Once I did and then I used the preview key and now I can't get back to the workspace. My screen dose not look like the instructors. I've spent all day looking and re-listening to videos. I'm not stupid, but right now I feel like it. So this is what I've done.

1. open workspace
2. Taken the first challenge, (again)
3. preview
4. stuck. And that is where I am. I can't get back to the index.html workspace page and work on what I've been learning. How stupid is that. There is no page open on the top of my computer screen to toggle back and forth from like the instructor.

Jaynie Williams I am assuming you are using Google Chrome(if you are not, highly suggest to switch to Chrome). It sounds like you are able to launch workspace. The workspace window is like opening a new browser.

When you click on preview the code within your workspace this will open a new window within your browser. To get back to your workspace, go your Google chrome tab in the near the start button and find the workspace window.

if will consider to use Xcode because the treehouse compiler is limited

How do I open the index.html file in Workspace?

Ty Gee If you are trying to preview your code......then click on the "eye" in the top right corner to see your code in the web browser.

If you are trying to edit index.html look in the left column until you find the index.html.
