Creative Discussions

I know web design is very development heavy but I noticed apart from 'Business' all of the discussion topics down the side are coding and development. There are no creative ones such as UI, Photoshop, etc.

Oh, I would love to see UI discussion/lessons too!

There is this series Photoshop Foundations from Allison...

I'd love to see more Photoshop lessons too. But more something like showing the complete workflow... let's say from creating something out of an idea to finalizing the PSD with a grid or so. That would be helpful I think.

I agree. I'd love to see more "creative"/UI development lessons.

Sorry I should have been more specific. Lessons would be awesome but I just meant in the side bar of the forum :P

Hey Suleiman,

I'm just now seeing this post since we've got the search function (yay!). I'm not sure how these tags are populated, but I'll find out and get back to you. Either way, I completely agree with you. I'll send this over as a suggestion to the app team.

Thanks Allison :)

Hey Suleiman,

So I reached out to the app team and heard back. The discussion topics list is supposed to map very cleanly to our content areas. This is the main mechanism we'll be using to tie forum activity back to points when we get the rest of that system in place. Once my UX course goes live, we will add that to the list. As for UI, I'd suggest just using UI as a tag and hopefully it will show up in the popular tags list!
