12,045 Points- Do not use a background with gradient, it is distracting to the users eyes. They need to focus on the content of the page instead of the design.
- Avoid using Serif fonts on digital displays. Use Sans Serif fonts. Only use serifs when your design is gonna be printed. You can use serif, but use it lesser ( use it only for headings or sub-headings ) Reason : Sans Serif fonts have higher readability on webpages.
- Do not make your text black if your background is dark. The contrast of color must be strong enough or readability will be compromised.
- Put your navigation at the top, or make it fixed to the top so users don't have to scroll down too much to have an overview of the pages of your website.
