Critique My Responsive Design?

Here is the link: http://codepen.io/rachel_weaver/pen/lIEei/

What could I improve on it? I know mobile-first is the best approach but I did not feel like re-writing all the code on an existing pen.

Very clean no-nonsense design. Pretty much what a lot of people look for when signing up to something. My password manager picked it up also, which isn't the case with a number of forms. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the black hover, I found it a bit stark, but that's just a personal thing and wouldn't stop me using it.

Hi Rachel Weaver,

Looks pretty good to me. My only critique would be shadows. I am not a big fan of them but that's just me! :)
