Critique my Website?

Hi! I was wondering if you guys could check out my website and let me know how it looks!

What was your experience like when you visited, how is the design and layout?

note I am still a newbie, but I needed a quick website, so I used a template but made some pretty big changes

I like it. Just 3 things I noticed:

  • You should add a headshot somewhere, just so people can put a face to a website!
  • On your "Education" page, if I were hiring, I would like to see start and end dates for schools as well as each project.
  • For Search Engine Optimization, you should change the meta title in the head of your website to include your name. It will make it much easier to find on google/bing/etc.

Looks good! Maybe decrease the height on the footer just a little bit?

You shouldn't listen to me though, I'm a newbie myself and currently awful at styling websites :=)

I think it's beautiful! One small thing-I think the submit button on the home page could be a nicer color on hover. I think it clashes with the purple. Hope this helps. :)

Thank you! Yes unfortunately I can't customize the contact form or change the colors of it; it's a limitation of the template. But you are so right, the color is a bit off, and I would change it if I could. Soon one day I won't be relying on templates for a website and wont have these issues!
