Crystal Ball App doesn't run on my iphone

I am a registered iOS developer and I have a provisioning profile and the certificates as well. Yet every time I run the crystal ball app, it only runs on the simulator and not on my iPhone. What's the problem?

When you are in Xcode at the top next to play, did you choose iOS device or does it still say simulator? You must choose device.

And the device will appear on top there only if it is connected.
