why am I getting this error message: make sure your using the correct display value

Here is my code .name, .main-nav, .main-nav li { display: block; }

Yhe vhallenge was Display the list items inside .main-nav side by side. Use thr display value that generates a block element.that flows with surrounding.content

.main-nav li { display: inline-block;
