css layout frustration

I just completed the CSS layout challenge. I managed to complete the challenge but when I watched the solution video it was done completely differently. Very frustrating! Anyone else experience this? Will it eventually click with experience or does everyone code CSS differently???

It's also true that everybody does code CSS slightly differently, my recommendation is to follow blogs etc about css and you'll eventually find a methodology that makes a lot of sense to you.

Thank you for the reply Mackenzie. I watched the solution videos again and it made more sense. It also wasn't as different to mine as I previously thought.

Hi Rebecca,

All I can say to this is yes, ALL THE TIME lol. But what a few of my programming friend have told me if your program works and it does the job well then that the main thing. There a lots of ways to solve a problem and in time as you learn new techniques and the more you read the more best practice you'll know. You solved the problem which is the main thing, just learn from the video's on how they did it so the next time it comes up you can use it as a reference.

Hope it helps

Thank you Stephen, that really does help. I'll keep on it! Thanks for the moral support.
