Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 1,053 PointsCSS mistake but where? My page links are not centering.
I am supposed to follow along with Nick and center the header, footer, and somehow the page links (portfolio, about and contact), but the page links are not centering. I believe I did it correctly or at least the way the video shows but it is not displaying properly so I must have goofed it. I have rewatched the video and can't find where it is wrong. Can you? Using the main.css file. See here:

28,695 Pointsi took a look. The only things i changed were a property that didn't have a semicolon and h2 {, which you had as h2 } . seemed to get centering back.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 1,053 PointsThank you. I did not realize I made those mistakes in h2 with the backwards brace & the missing semi colon. I was looking at h1 and so many other places. Thanks for the detailed description of what was missing. It helped me see it.

20,433 PointsHey not sure what was in the video but if you add a new rule under the Navigation comment like this it should work:
nav ul li{ text-align: center; }

Courses Plus Student 4,388 Pointsjust take a look at on your meta tag you forgot to close it and if you want to center your list tag just give the rule on your header tag like text-align: center so what ever nested on header element will be align center
