CSS

CSS - Still not sticking. (Or cascading in my head.)

What's the best way you guys have practiced CSS? Right now I feel like a goat, just copying what he's doing, and as it's so fresh I can answer the quizzes and code challenge perfect.

CSS ...is...just...not...making...sense.. (Parse error, CSS "does not make sense" line 1.)

What are some ways you guys have practiced CSS? Honestly, I think the navigation portion is the biggest piece, then when Nick moved the CSS all around to group certain things, it lost me.

I'm never going to get to be a programmer... T_T

Not everything has to be memorized remember! As Nick states many times, even the greatest programmers have to look back at some things. Remember if you are ever confused just look to the community of programmers on treehouse or the many other sites with available information! Good Luck and Keep Coding!

The best way to learn is to probably practice it. If you feel like the code challenges aren't helping, then start to build your own site with you're own design. Then when your run into problems, reach out to the Treehouse forum to discuss for help!

Hello Wadson,

Don't worry, you are in the right place. I would recommend that you start with the Web Design Track (https://teamtreehouse.com/tracks/web-design) and start at the beginning. It basically starts with the very basics of web design. Just keep in mind that it takes time to learn new things and what matters is that you are interested and willing to learn.

Good luck!

That's what I'm doing right now with Nick P. But you're right. I am what to learn. Maybe I'm expecting to master this overnight.

Good! Just take your time and if you need to, re-watch the videos however many times it takes and you will soon understand it!

Keep practicing!

You all truly are an inspiration. When I make the next billion dollar website / company you all are getting jobs. That's my word. Lol. Thank you.
