20,367 PointsCurious about how the leaderboards work
I just discovered the Leaderboards and decided to see where I stand. As a member of 2 years and at this time, 8242 points, how is it that I am ranked in the mid thousands and people with less than half of the points I have are ranked in the top 10?
Just wondering how that is factored. I expected to see people with like 50k points in the top slots!

20,367 PointsAh, ok. Thanks, Ken. I saw another guy today that has well over 20k points and he started a month after I did (Judging by the date of his Newbie badge). There are some very impressive learners out there!

Treehouse TeacherYeah, the last time I looked at the leader board there were multiple people ahead of me with fewer total points. I'm not that concerned about it, but it would be a nice feature to get resolved.

Treehouse Moderator 145,858 PointsI have brought this to the attention of Treehouse as well. I personally don't pay that much attention to them, but I agree that it would be VERY nice to have resolved.
I also wish that Treehouse would put up a notice about the glitch/issue with the leaderboards, as I am worried that there are some that may get discouraged at their "wrong" position/rating. For a newcomer, it may be discouraging to see someone has amassed 100+ badges and/or 10000+ points when they have only accomplished and MUCH MORE realistic number of badges and points.
Hopefully this gets rectified soon. You all keep on Coding! :)
