Python Challenge Solution

Curly Brackets { } syntax used in input function

Where can I learn more about the curly brackets Ken used in the input function? I don't think it's been mentioned before I was struggling to figure out how to get the nice ( number - number ) formatting in the goalkeeper question "Please select the goal keeper by selecting the player number ( 1 - 3 )" I tried using \ to ignore the parentheses but I kept receiving a TypeError.

Hey there Margaret Lee ! :wave:

You can find some good info on f strings here! I much prefer these to using the .format() method at the tail end of a string.

Different Types of String Formatting

.format() W3 Fancier formatting

I hope this helps! :smiley:

Awesome, thank you!
