14,575 PointsMike, to answer your question I am sure it all depends on where you are applying. But most places that are hiring require someone with some development experience. A lot of developers have different languages under their belt, and perhaps some years of experience working for another company. If you google around, you will find companies hiring developers, and their requirements. But for sure you will need Objective-C, Swift among other languages and skills.
This may not answer your questions fully, but perhaps doing a bit more research, you'll find what you are looking for.
