Custom Blog Reader/ Core Data

Hello guys, I will start to work in a new Blog Reader but The main idea is not use any design from Xcode. So, we have with owm background, own button, and own visualizacion the content.

I am so worry about how can I create the main data of this blog. Is that useful to use JSON Data? How can I store a lot of photos that the articules content?

If someone can give a advice about how will be the efficent way to store my data in this case, I will really appreciate the information.
