Custom Segue

I am working on a storyboard with navigation controller on it.

What i am trying to achieve is to be able to load a view controller by presenting the new controller from the left to right of the screen.

Already managed to do this by following this tutorial http://blog.jambura.com/2012/07/05/custom-segue-animation-left-to-right-using-catransition/ but i notice that before the new view controller appears, the whole screen goes black.

any way to resolve this? or any other suggestions on how to achieve this?

Download the example files and compare: Example files

Thanks Aaron.

This is the same solution i found from that link i provided. :)

I noticed it goes black as well. I think its just the way the Segue is setup.

You probably need to use the custom view controller transition in iOS 7. Here's a good article explaining it: Custom UIViewController Transitions
