So i went around and tryed to find the best parts for a computer to make my self for a friend and i encoutered an evga 7600 gt. i am confused on it because it pluges in fine to the motherboard, but then on the other side their is what seems to be a place for somthing like a power supply. I know this graphics card is pretty old but if anyone could just look up a picture and tell me what it is that would be fantastic

2,051 PointsHey Dylan, i tried to check it up but no luck finding a manual for it. From what i saw in pictures, there are two power sockets in the card, a white one for the fan and black one that is connects to the power supply. The black connector has six pins if am correct, usually most of the new power supplies have a cable with that structure that helps pump enough juice to the card ;) . If your power supply doesn't include it, you can get an extension that looks like this link . I hope that my answer was sufficient for your question.

9,767 PointsYou'll have towards the rear of the case your SLI bridge connector and towards the front of the case a 6 pin power supply connector. If you don't have a 6 pin plug on your PSU, get on a site and buy a 4 pin molex to 6 pin adapter.
What are you hopping to do with this system because that card is an antique.
