Data base servers V.S personal computer servers in functionality? How do they differ?

The purpose of a database server is to serve you a database like MySQL or any other database. On the opposite, the personal computer is designed to serve you with software like apps. Mostly they build up the same tetchily pat but emphasize on special part to serve their need better. I hope that helps.
