DB for Wordpress install in a new and fresh DB or possible to merge into an existing DB

Normally it is the cleanest approach to use a new and fresh DB for a Worpdress install. But would it be also viable to use a DB for a WP install which already has other tables from other installs in it? Best regards Ralf

Both are acceptable though be sure if you use the same db that your prefix is not the same however you might experiance a bit slower times as your db grow but not by much

ahhh cool thanks!
