Debug Crash

When I tried to debug, my android studio froze. Then when I reopen, I have warnings saying "Gradle project sync failed", with errors all over my MainActivity. I've deleted project and started fresh, but always this same result. Can't even get old projects (fun facts, interactive story) to open now without these errors. Any ideas what's happening?
