Debuggin in genymotion

Can we use genymotion for debuggin or just for running our app?

1 Answer

Sure, debugging is definitely possible with Genymotion. You can find a walkthrough on how to setup and use Genymotion here. One thing noteworthy is that Genymotion does not come bundled with Google Play Services. If your app uses maps, notifications, etc. you have to manually install it. You can find a few helpful answers in this Stackoverflow thread. <- This thread to "no drag and drop support", but it should work by simply downloading the Google Play Services that match your API level and dragging the file into the running emulator.

Although these posts are both from 2013, most of it still applies.
