        if num%2 == 0:
            print('{} is even'.format(num))
        else:
            print('{} is odd'.format(num))
        start -= 1
    # If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
    # Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.

Hi there, you may have misread the question. You need to write the while loop outside of the odd_even function and make a call to check odd or even. somethings along the lines below...

import random

def even_odd(num):
    return not num % 2

start = 5
while start > 0:
   # get the randon number
    # call odd_even on the number
    # print out if odd or even

Hope that helps you finish
