Declaring a String Variable

Help me with this question...ill need the answer to go on

Array.java
String[] sports = { "Chess", "Basketball", "Baseball", "Tennis", };
String bestSport = "Chess";
int numberOfSports = sports.length;
String lastSport = sports[3];

String bestSport = sports[0]; //the first element of the array is assigned to bestSport

Thanks raaji, the first one was worked but your answer was more appropriate and i did it. thanks again

for the last part instead of hardcoding the number try String lastSport = sports[sports.length-1];
