iOS Objective-C Basics (Retired) Functional Programming in C Functions

Declaring-implementing functions in C and in it's other variants.

So I started learning C after JavaScript/PHP and while I get the concept of declaring and implementing functions (although its weird) I got a question. Do the other versions of C, like C++ or C# use the same method when it comes to creating functions?
