Deep Dive : Ruby

So I was having some trouble with the Advanced Social Features on Ruby on Rails and wanted to take a step back to get a better understanding of Ruby on Rails. My question is the following. The Deep Dive on Ruby is a lesson on Ruby on Rails or just Ruby? Cause I don't want to get too much into Ruby but I do want to learn more about Ruby on Rails.

The deep dive is going to be just on ruby. To learn more about rails you would certainly need to dive into ruby to understand what is actually going on with some of the magic that is rails.
