defining functions

my brain is mush whats even going on here?

def printer(count)
    print("Hi " * count)

Your code is extremely close, you have just forgotten to place a colon after the function declaration on the first line.

Like this:

def printer(count): # <- The : was missing in your code
    print("Hi " * count)
