Deleting a project does not delete my old files references, so when i create a new project same old files are showing up

How can i remove a project completely? So, when i create a new project, the old files do not show up in newly created project. I have project_01, with files x_01, x_o2, deleted the entire project. Created a new project_02, the x_01 and x_02 files are re-created in my project_02!

Sounds weird, when you delete the project make sure you select "Move to trash". Other option is to create the new project in another folder.

Yes, i have done the same steps you mentioned. Deleted them from project, moved to trash, deleted entire folder, empty trash, created a new project in a different folder and i still have them same files, same main.stroy. I am not sure how to processed?
