Dev website unavailable when i re-start PC

I have installed desktop server and loaded the .dev website however when i re-start the PC i cannot access the local word press site. Error message is: this website cannot be reached. How can i resolve this issue?

Ensure you have started up the desktopServer again from the xampplite folder.

Should be found in C:\xampplite

This needs to be running in order for the site to work locally from what i found.

Thanks Billy. I have xampplite in the C folder. Not sure what else i am not doing right.

Make sure you have the desktopserver application running thats found in that found.

C:\xampplite\DesktopServer

You will need this application running in order for your site to operate locally.

Once you start the application click through the options until you have a page like this. from there the "Sites" button at the bottom will show a list of all your WordPress sites.

Personally I made a shortcut to this application on my desktop so I can start it easily without going into the C:.
