CSS

Developed for Chrome, now I need to develop for safari

So I put together the basic skeleton for a static site in chrome (it looks ok but still needs to be smoothed out around the corners) then decided to put it on the web so that I can test and adjust the CSS for mobile devices. A problem I noticed is that it looks like crap on all my devices that run safari (including my desktop). Some examples include my footer logos don't center at the bottom of my page, my header logo explodes to take up most of the page, my gradient colors don't show up ect..... From what I understand safari vendor prefix is the same as chromes "-webkit-"? I was hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction or shoot me a link to some literature that can help me fix my site for safari.
