Devise - Undefined Method

Hey all, I'm currently working my way through the 'Treebook' tutorial.

I've followed the video to the letter, as far as I can tell, but I am getting this error:

undefined method `first_name' for #<User:0x007fd05194d998>

and this is the actual extract from the file:

<%= f.label :first_name %>
<%= f.text_field :first_name %>

Is anyone able to shed some light on this, or even highlight a glaring typographical error?

Thanks.

I fixed this by redoing the entire project...

I've since come up against a similar issue a few steps later, which I'll address when it's not 4am.
