Dictionary is similar to Object in JavaScript

As I understand, Swift's Dictionaries are similar to JS objects? Or Swift has its objects like a separate thing?

Yes there are objects in Swift separately from dictionaries. Also, JavaScript objects have methods associated with them whereas dictionaries do not (among many other differences).
