Hello Gil,
You are doing great! The error is you have added more than what the question is looking for.
Here is my solution.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lists and Links</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <ul>
      <li><a href="cakes.html">Cakes</a></li>
      <li><a href="pies.html">Pies</li>
      <li><a href="candy.html">Candy</li>
    </ul>

  </body>
</html>

Thank you so much. That fixed the issue right away.
