General Discussion

Did Treehouse decide to stop producing new Ruby courses?

The last course was Ruby Gems and published more than 8 months ago! Also, there aren't any new Ruby courses coming according to the Treehouse road map, at least until July.

Another issue is, it seems Treehouse lost it's only full-time Ruby teacher, Jason Seifer, to a company called Doximity.

Is it safe to assume, Treehouse gave up on Ruby and decided to not employ any Ruby teachers?

I totally agree! Why not make some more Ruby courses?????? Ruby is one of my favorite languages these days

Hi Ogulcan,

I would say it's not safe to assume that. We recently hired a Ruby teacher and it's certainly a language we will continue to teach and support.

Hi Jay Padzensky

Glad to hear that! Looking forward to see new Ruby videos soon.
