Did you make a call to the "eq" method on the jQuery with a selector of "li"? I keep getting this error msg. Why?

$('.student-list').on ('click', 'li', function(event){ $(this).eq(2); });

What am I missing?

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
    <title>Document</title>
</head>
<body>
  <h2>Student List</h2>

  <ul class="student-list">
    <li>James McAvoy</li>
    <li>Alena Holligan</li>
    <li>Wade Christensen</li>
    <li>Matt Krzyzynski</li>
  </ul>

  <script src="jquery-3.2.1.min.js"></script>
  <script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>
app.js
$('li').on('click', function(event){
$('li').eq(2);

});

The challenge wants you to just make the selection - not an event listener.

Thanks Kris,

I figured that out after I left the exercise and logged back in a few days later.
It's so valuable to take a break from trying to solve a code riddle:)
