Did you set or initialize 'bookTitle' to the result from calling 'System.Console.ReadLine()'?

Hi, i dont get the second challenge task to work.

i have been trying diffrent codes such as;

string firstName = System.Console.ReadLine(); string firstName = System.Console.Readline("bookTitle");

apparently i dont understand the question.

CodeChallenge.cs
System.Console.Write("Enter a book title: ");

string firstName = System.Console.ReadLine("bookTitle");

Hi Fredrik Högberg,

Not sure where firstName comes into play here ... but the challenge task requires that we:

Use the System.Console.ReadLine method to read the user’s response from the console and store it in a variable named bookTitle.

You were pretty close, just try:

System.Console.Write("Enter a book title: ");
string bookTitle = System.Console.ReadLine();

Best of luck, and happy coding :smile:
