didnt understand whats needed

i though returning $size['length']*$size['width'] will work

Great question. They just have poor instruction here.

Its suppose to be a string, and also the array is not an object/associative array.

The following code will work and will hopefully help you understand.

class Render {
  public static function displayDimensions($size) {
    return $size[0] . " x " . $size[1];

  }

}

?>
