in this lecture, he used underscore(_) as a parameter, and create new method inside local scope. he called it as "local references".
i do understand that we can use _.someMethodName after defining inside self-invoking function(as local references)
but what will be differ from using "prototype" to add new method to underscore. _.prototype.someMethodName thanks
