Difference between Math.floor and Math.round

Hi all,

I'm a little bit confused with the Math Object Math.floor and Math.round, can you tell me what is the difference between them and in practice, in which case it's recommended to use them?

think of it in a different light. Floor will always go down to the last integer. The float 3.8 will be dropped down to 3. Round is just that 3.8 will round up to 4. 3.3 will round down to 3.

I'd like to add on to Jacob's answer. Math.floor(); chops off the decimal part when Math.round(); rounds it.
