Hi! I am building a Portfolio Theme on Wordpress. I want to categorize my work, in 3 different categories (Motion Design, Interactive Design and Communication Design), but I want this categories to be different from the blog categories. Any ideas on how should I approach this?

Treehouse Guest TeacherWith the custom post types UI, you can setup custom taxonomies :)

10,939 PointsOn my portfolio page I want it to be able to filter the work (like Mixitup.io) does. I have the portfolio items as custom post types. But I don't want this categories to appear on my regular blog, on my regular blog I want other categories like lifestyle, design, personal, etc... I hope I explain myself better... I'm sorry english is not my first language
