Different directory structure in Jekyll 3.2.1

The newer version of Jekyll comes with a very different file structure in the directory, missing some folders that used to be included in older versions (as far as I know). Will this course still be useful for the new version?

I am having the same issue. when i made my folder, it did not include the _template, or _include, and the sites folder :( I am also wondering if this will course will still be helpful
