Direction of Python?

I am curious to know about what the Python courses are leading up to. Are we working our way up to building applications using the small/large frameworks like Flask, Pyramid, or Django?

A few months back I was learning about Play! Framework both Java/Scala sides of things. But once you dive deep enough into those things get a bit hairy and it really does require you to learn more than just Java or Scala. Especially when you start talking about persistence.

I definitely think Django has a mixture of beginner and intermediate learning levels to it. But I think that is where the real applied learning takes place. I hope we push into some courses that cover such topics for Python. ;)

Yep, Flask and Django are both planned. More intermediate & advanced Python courses will be coming out, too. We're also working on getting some Python data science stuff out, but I don't feel comfortable giving any sort of time frame on those.

So, I was looking around YouTube and happened to find Mr. Kenneth Love's giant man-beard face in a 3 hour PyCon segment on Django from scratch.

HERE is the link for those that would like to watch it. ;)
