PHP

(dirname(_ _FILE_ _)

I understand (dirname(FILE) however, I have a wordpress theme with (dirname(_ FILE _)

IE there are spaces between the _ _ s this something new? is it an error? should I remove?

If there are spaces between the _ characters, that's an error. FILE should always be two underscores on each side of the word, this is a predefined PHP constant representing the current filename.
