Dismiss the keyboard

hi i have tried to place the delegate method - (BOOL)textFieldShouldReturn:(UITextField *)textField { [textField resignFirstResponder]; return YES; } but it doesnt work is there a different way on ios 7 or am i not doing something correct

  • did you designate your view controller a 

    <UITextFieldDelegate>

    delegate?

  • and did you make this view controller the delegate for your UITextField?
