display: inline-block, is not working, the nav menu items are still stack one on top of the other, what am i missing?

I realized in a more advance video that the items in the nav menu are displayed in the same line, but mine is not working, so what could be the problem?

Try adding display:block; in your li items

You can try setting the parent elements to display inline-block. This property will apply to the parent's contents. The inline-block property allows you to specify height and width properties to those objects. Try playing around with their width and height. here is a good guide: https://css-tricks.com/almanac/properties/d/display/
