Hi Maria,

We want to make sure our new CSS rule specifically targets the list items of the main-nav class, so we should add li after .main-nav:

.main-nav li {
   display: inline-block;
}

Hope this helps!

.main-nav li{ display : inline-block; }

wouldn't targeting the .main-nav add that declaration to all child elements within the parent of .main-nav?
