Displaying workspaces

I am having a problem with (understanding) workspaces. The way I understand it is that workspaces is supposed to be active during the code challenge so work can be saved and the .img files can be uploaded. When I open workspaces it takes me to a new page and every time I continue with a challenge my previous work is lost.

Go to your workspaces page by clicking the icon on the left panel. There you should see all the workspaces you worked on and saved. The workspaces page is where you have access to the work you've done. When you open workspaces during a project by clicking on the link in the project page it opens up the exercise files for that stage.
