Divs not appearing

I've been going over my code and comparing it to the example in the video, however I can't get those numbered circles to appear like in the video.

var html = '';

for ( var i = 1; i <= 1000; i += 1; ) {
  html += '<div>' + i + '</div>';
}
document.write(html);

1 Answer

for ( var i = 1; i <= 1000; i += 1; )

you have to take out the semicolon after the i+=1

so:

for ( var i = 1; i <= 1000; i += 1 )

Thank you! I didn't think a semicolon at the end would cause the whole thing to not work. Programming is just plain frustrating sometimes.
