I need to make a left Navigational Menu with Modals as navigation menu items. Can any one tell me the way to do it.

This is possible but a lot of work. The basic flow is to find which admin template is currently being used, copy this to your templates/admin/ directory and modify the layout. The admin list layout will have a loop to display all of the models. You can base your new menu code on how this loop to reference the models.
