DNS means Domain Name System or Domain Name Servers? What it is the difference between both?

Just to know if there any diferences between both of names.

DNS stands for "Domain Name System".

The system is of course implemented on a number of servers, but the term DNS generally refers to all of them collectively, and in regard to the services they perform.
