Do designers even work here anymore?

HI,

So I was wondering, do graphic designers work here? I mean, not Guil or Nick, but teachers that teach you how to use photoshop/illustrator, like Mat etc..

I got 40 points in design, and i got 96% more points than most student's, that tells that probably no one is really doing design.

Hi,

I've been using Photoshop and Illustrator for about 22 years, so I haven't really pursued it on Treehouse. I may do the Illustrator course at some stage as you can always pick up new technique.

As far as teachers at Treehouse, maybe it's more of an 'as demand' thing. There are a few photoshop and Illustrator lessons, maybe get through those and it might give you enough grounding to continue on yourself. Or once completing them you might be able to suggest specific content for a new course.

There are some interesting things I'll have a look at, fav icons always get me ;). Also, (this might be a noob question) I'm interested to know how you know the 96% ranking? Cheers.

Well, I just wanted to do something with the sketch, but there too much to learn, I mainly do web stuff.

Yes, but svg and stuff is all related with web so these shoudl be really mandatory vidoes i suppose :)

Well, i suppose they did videos and they are now gone :D

I noticed where you said, "I got 40 points in design, and i got 96% more points..." — but that may not be correct. In fact, it's quite likely not correct.

The leaderboards have been showing incorrect scores for over a year now. My own page shows me at 99% in both android and java, two subjects in which I've never taken any courses. This has been discussed in numerous other posts. The staff are aware, but additional messages to Support wouldn't hurt.

Good to know. I'm shocked by what i see on the leadeboards : p m sure it's a bug then
